Re: Hoping to find an 1820m dock

That is a shame about the forum... I am still running my 1820m with Windows 7 although I did purchase a non working dock a coupe of years back to have for spare parts. (I have used the gain pot for one of the MIC channels already) Hope you manage to get one yourself soon. Also hope all is well with ...

Re: Emulator X3 and Win 7 x64 - not working entirely

Hi EmanUno, Emulator X3 does not seem to have any issue with 32 Gb or Ram, at least not in my machine although I do not push it very hard, I tend to just use the EMU sound central drum kits and Vintage Pro X synth banks. As far as getting the 1820m to work I may have just been lucky with my Motherbo...

Re: Emulator X3 and Win 7 x64 - not working entirely

Hi there, I don't have a solution for your particular problem, but just to let you know that I do have EmulatorX3 working correctly on Windows 7 64bit with the following hardware. Just so you know that it will work and is worth trying to get fixed. the fact that it is intermittent sounds like some o...

Re: Looking for old or faulty 1820m for parts

Dear tnt23,

My apologies, I have not been logged in here for a while and so did not see your request.

I do still have the old 1820m dock, minus the pot that I removed. If you are still looking for a part let me know. I just kept for spares in case I ever need it again.

best wishes

Re: Looking for old or faulty 1820m for parts

OK, I finally got a supposed faulty one from ebay so will strip the pot out of that. I will then have a go at repairing the faulty one (new caps, modified pots etc.)

Replacement gain control pot.

Does anybody know where I can get a replacement gain pot for my 1820m dock at all? I accidentally knocked it the other day and then had problems with the Mic/Line A input. Upon stripping the unit down I discovered that the pot had been broken off the soldered pins where it joins the pcb. I can repai...

I'm using a Gigabyte K8NXP-9 Motherboard, 2GB Ram, NForce4, SATA 160Gb Maxtor drive, Sapphire X600 Graphics, Cubase and EMU 1820m all with no problems at all, Latency at 4ms.
